This is my entry for the “Party Through The Decades” international design competition.
My outfit is inspired by post-apocalyptic neo-tribal dancers. This is a blend of the future and the 1970’s. I am highly influenced by Rodarte and beauty in decay. I originally created my first prototype of this skirt in red and black after Rodarte’s Fall 2008 collection, this is the garments progression to me within the past two years I have been designing.
Top made with cotton shirt, tea-stained and hand painted material. Crepe back satin skirt with wool and polyester knit material overlay.

Thanks! It took a few days to make but it was worth it. Lots of my models enjoy wearing it because of the movement the skirt has.
