Brooklyn, New Yo...
The early 1900’s has always been my favorite era in fashion. I found my inspiration from old advertisements, fashion magazines, art prints, and the marriage of the art deco and art nouveau periods. I LOVE this dress, although the pictures did not come out quite so well. I did not use a pattern but it fits perfectly and is the first dress that is anywhere near an evening gown that I have ever made…but now I will definitely be making more!
I used lace, created beaded strands for the neckline, and used a light chiffon along with a couple other fabrics for the body of the dress.
Cool greys transition from summer to fall in a shirt dress, flowing maxi skirt, and new jackets.
8 patterns, a web seminar, and technique videos for sewing menswear.
