Description

Simple blouse made from free Burdastyle pattern 115- Belted Blouse. Made for my daughter. We opted not to make the self fabric blouse for two reasons:
1. we ran out of fabric
2. the woven leather belt looks good with the pale green gingham fabric

Material Notes

lightweight slub cotton mini gingham

The diamond shapes are a little tricky. I think I modified how they were inserted. The side seams are sewn from below the armhole opening to the top of the side vent with a straight stitch on my sewing machine.

Really pretty! Great idea to use a different belt – it gives it a different look. Found your photos really helpful as confused about how the diamond shape fitted in to the shoulders (I am making this very shortly, all my pieces cut out and ready to go).
