I used a voile as the top layer for this skirt with a plain cotton lawn underlayer. This skirt was made to my own design. I attached the fabric to the elastic waitband and sewed on buttons for extra detail. As you can see I have made it in many different fabrics.

Love these skirts!! I think I’ll be trying this one very soon. Would it work the same with knit fabric waistbands??
