For years now, I’ve been carrying around bins of old clothes, each time I move. I couldn’t bear to get rid of them because they were important or sentimental to me. Especially my concert t-shirts!! Almost all those old tees were big and boxy and I hadn’t worn them in years. But they commemorated a great show I’d seen and made me remember different times in my life.
So I took all my tees and traced a record sleeve to cut out the best parts of the front & back of the tees, and ended up with 25 squares. I figured out the layout on my living room floor (picture 1).
I have them all sewn together now, but now I’ve got to add the backing fabric and batting.
