Burdastyle pattern 5/2011 108 view A. This was my first project using bias tape and I loved how it gave the dress a bit of contrast and detail. I didn’t use the jacquard fabric as suggested but I’m happy with the charmeuse I ended up using. In fact I love the softness and the flow of the fabric and I don’t have to worry about lining it. Happy with the end result.
2 yards charmeuse, 24 in zipper, black bias tape, thread
