My step-mother fell in love with one of my dresses, she needed hers, but choose a totally different fabric with stripes….
Finally, I really like the result.
Mods : since the pattern wasn’t for jersey, I cut a 36 for a 40 and it fits nicely.
I made the sleeves longer, changed the neckline, didn’t used a zip (no need for that), created a chevron pattern by cutting both the front and the back of the skirt in 2 pieces and changed the pockets too.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
