Description

The maroon fabric is from a twin sized Wal-Mart sheet. The floral came from then now extinct Wal-Mart fabric department. The floral fabric is as of now and the last 4 years my favorite fabric in the world. I have made doilies and curtains and a bed skirt with it. I made this blouse and hijab with the last of it. I didn’t have enough of the maroon for the hijab So I put some floral to make it long enough to suite me. I didn’t have enough of the floral to make the sleeves long enough so I added some maroon scraps to make the sleeves long enough to suit me. It was really important to me to make an outfit with this floral so I mixed and matched scraps to make it work. The skirt has two pockets the Blouse has one.

I tried to add a picture to my first listing of this outfit and I uploaded instead. I think my compute is going psycho. If any one can tell me how to delete the other listing of the same garment I would appreciate knowing how.

Absolutely gorgeous! Please don’t delete the other pictures, they are all beautiful. I am a plus sided woman and clothing of this type is very flattering on larger women as myself. I looked at your other garments, and all are so beautiful! Please keep posting your creations so we can enjoy (if somewhat enviously) your designs.

Great job, this is gorgeous! I love how you pieced in the contrasting fabrics to make the hijab and sleeves longer.
