I fell in love with Bella and decided to make a short version. The pattern worked very well, didn’t have to change anything except I used a zipper instead of buttons. I used coton, dark blue with white pinstripes.

I stumbled across the Bella pattern and thought “these would make great shorts, I cant believe no one has thought of doing that yet” and then I came across your project. I must say, they look at great as shorts as I imagined they would. Great job and I’m very impressed with your amazing ability to line up the stripes. Looks very professionally done. : )

beautifully cut! great use of the pattern – I need shorts that don’t chop up my leg line so the higher waist is a great tool!
