based on the burdastyle magazine pattern 124 issue 08/09. some tiny alterations at the back. I love it, because it´s so incredible versatile. Styled up with a clutch and some jewellery for evenings or with a polo neck for university it´s wearable everywhere and everytime.
deep blue (old fashioned) satin. I bought it at the liquidation of a mom-and-pop grocery store. they sold every garment rest for 1euro. although, of course, it ´s a pitty the lovely shop had to close……

I loved that dress the minute I saw it in the BWOF magazine. Thanks for posting these pictures, now I’m convinced I should give it a go. Your dress is spectacular! The fabric gives it orient look, but it is far more interesting due to specific pattern. Love your photos!

Ah, it looks great on you, and I love the fabric! I hesitated a bit when I saw it in the magazine (pretty but I was scared it’d be a bit dull), but yours is fabulous, I might give it a go!

Alles klar!

I like it very much! Wonderful and beautiful! :) The satin, is it stretch fabric?? I want to sew this model but I am searching for some stretch fabric. Otherwise ist not comfortable to wear?

my dress is not strechy. to keep it comfortable also when i drive the car or sit somewhere, i made the skirt part nearly size 36 instead of 34, as i made the upper part. i would say the pattern itself is not too tight so that you need a stech fabric necessarily. good luck with the project!!!
