Bella Doll

Added May 6, 2008

by maldrich

Travelers Rest, ...

A doll made of cotton muslin using scrap material as clothes. This was my niece’s Christmas present. The red-headed doll is my own and her dress is made from scraps of my elf dress and shoes.

Material Notes

Muslin, yarn, felt, various scrap material

The pattern for the doll and some of the clothes are from Claire Garland’s Toys to Sew. Some of the clothes were my originals or modifications on her patterns.

That’s a fun present to give. I have to admit I got REALLY excited when I first saw this because the fabric she’s wearing for her top in the first photo is the exact same fabric I made a skirt out of!
