A friend asked me to make her daughter’s prom dress. After browsing through shops, we came up with this dress. The skirt has 6 yards of silk chiffon, the bustier bodice is heavy silk satin embroidered with all sorts of goodies, including Swarovski crystals. If you’d like to see more pics and read the construction details, please visit my blog
silk chiffon, silk peau de soie, spiral steel boning, grosgrain ribbon, cotton shirting, muslin, petticoats, lining fabric, zipper, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, japanese seed beeds, silk flowers and thread!
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
