Description

My second version of Colette Patterns Beignet skirt, this time in plain black. This is a time consuming skirt to make but it’s worth taking the extra time as the finish looks so professional. I also added contrast polka dot facings and pockets. Read more and see more pics on my blog

Material Notes

Black gabardine for the main skirt, cotton polka dot for the facings and pockets and black silk cotton for the lining.

Really nice! The covered buttons look great. You’ll get so much use out of this.

Very nice! The Beignet skirt is so versatile and you could wear it with anything really, especially as it’s in black. I’d love to make one too. Great job!
