We’ve been planning a ‘stealth’ dressing up day at work (i.e. those of us planning it turn up in fancy dress, hopefully to the puzzlement of those not in on the joke) for halloween and I’ve had my heart set on dressing as a bat. So today I finally got some time to put my plan into action. I used a black velour which caused me to remeber why I never use this fabric, the rolling, the awkward pile, the fluff! But it does look cool! I started off with a cape type construction and built the wings into this. It was going to have a hood with ears but I didn’t have enough fabric so I just made ears and attached them to a headband. The mask is just an added extra because I like making stuff!

Thanks! I had ‘fun’ trying to use photo editing software, I’m not so good on the computer side of things but I really wanted a fun picture.
