Description

I created this flannel baby quilt for a very dear friend who refused to “peek in her package” early. I machine pieced and hand appliqued the bear blocks and waited to assemble the alternate blocks with blue or pink until after the baby was born.

Material Notes

3 yards Focus flannel print
1.5 yards pink or blue flannel
5 fat quarters of brown flannels
1 fat quarter of black flannel

Difficulty

Novice

Cute idea – would you mind if I showed it to my pupils in school – some are interested in quilts for babies?
