Burda Style For people who sew

I made this (and a few other belts) to sell at a fashion show last month. I am completely in love with beading by hand, and I can’t get enough of the time and mine consuming nature of the whole thing.
Making a butterfly was actually the idea of a coworker of mine who had a beaded butterfly hair piece once and missed it haha. So the butterfly was born. It is a mixture of purple, gold, silver, and red seed beads, rock beads and sequins.
I made these belts to be mix and match, both the belt and the decorative piece have snaps so the wearer can buy a few and decide which piece to wear!
