I bought this old Calvin Klein cotton-spandex black and white striped swimsuit at a second hand store because it had this AMAZING open scoop back; it also featured quite the french bikini cut butt, which was a bit worn/stretched for my narrow hips anyway, so, needless to say I didn’t wear it swimming. When my favorite black stretchy circle skirt lost too much stretch in the elastic waist to wear comfortably, I decided to mend them together, carefully cutting what I could off the bottom part of the swimsuit and re-gathering the skirt after cutting the old elastic away.
voila! new stretchy beach dress!
