Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I’ve seen this dress by Victoria Secret all over Pinterest.
Crazy simple idea and genius at the same time: a rectangle of fabric minus quarter-circles nipped at the corners + straps = a wrap dress.
Made it as a birthday gift for my friend (who’s modelling it in action).
Material Notes
1.50 m wide x 0.75 m long jersey.
Grosgrain ribbon for straps (2 pieces X 30cm).
Bra loops (for adjustable straps).

Hey red-lia, this is awesome! i’ve been looking at making it but i’m worried about the straps falling off easily…does that happen?

On the contrary: since the dress is worn as a wrap, the straps would want to slide “inwards” (towards the neck) rather than outwards, so there’s no chance of them falling!

Hi there!
No, there are no closures. I just used the bra “thingies” to make the straps adjustable.
