Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I got a little burned out on mariniere shirts this summer, but have been wanting to try shibori-dyeing on a piece of silk jersey for a while, so this t-shirt happened.
The fly-front zippered shorts were the work of an afternoon. I had a yard of some poly-blend moire lying around and tested this new pattern draft. They’re a bit snug, hence no back view.
Material Notes
T-shirt is fine silk jersey, dyed using the shibori method with jacquard acid dye.
Shorts are minty polyester satin moire.
