Here is my version of the Built by Wendy blouse. I chose a flowy cotton shirting to make it, but half way through making I realize it looked so much like a Man shirt! Therefore, I tried to make it more feminie and trendy with the bright buttons…
The sleeves are large and it takes getting used to, but now I love it! Very easy project with simple 2 piece bodice and no darts.

Amarie, I think it would be better as a dress! I saw a version of a blue dress on flickr, it looks great. I think the bodice of this shirts needs a little shape, like how you added darts. :) I will try it some time.

I like your version too. I did one of these, too, but i made it into a dress. I did add darts and that made a huge difference. The sash tucks it in, but with darts, it avoids the bunching.

I like your creation very much, and in fact, I think you did a great job of making it more feminine. It looks great on you!
