Somehow the pictures of my last upload got lost, so I try it again…
I sewed this Dirndl for my graduation ceremony, since all my friends said they wanted to wear theirs, and because it’s really bad not to have one when you live in the Allgaeu.
It wasn’t very difficult to sew, I shortened it a bit, for a more modern style and buyed the blouse.
First I wanted to take one of these great traditional silk fabrics, but they were just too expensive. :(

was für ein hübsches dirndl!!! stell ich mir nicht so leicht vor. meine mutti hat in ihrer jugend einige genäht, ich trau mich bisher noch nicht so ran. p.s.: was unheimlich schön ist, sind knöchellange dirndl, wie ich finde. eine zeit lang war die dreiviertel länge stark vertreten, was aber nicht soooo elegant ist. letztes jahr am matura ball von meinem bruder hatten die mädls aber auch kurze versionen an, mit stutzerl hat das für das alter echt süß und peppig ausgeschaut :-)
