The V neck looks great, good job. Did you use a jersey/stretchy fabric and a normal sewing machine? I’m worried if I do that my stiches won’t have any stretch and might snap. Any tips from more experienced sewers?

yeah I did, with a stretch needle and the overlock stitch setting on my machine (uses a lot of thread but sews seams and finishes edges in one step while allowing for movement and you can play around with the seam allowances too)
good luck!

Your V-necks on both tops are perfect, well done being your first time!!! I’m excited to see other creations, adding other elements like a wide waistband at the hem is also another good look… GREAT WORK ;-)
