As in my first batik peplum top, I did mention that I will make a few for myself and this is one of them. I had some batik fabrics in my stash and did not know what to do with them. I feel that this is the perfect pattern for them. The shoulder is wider apart by an inch (boat neck, at but not off shoulder) to give it an illusion of a slightly smaller waist (because mine is just too big! ;P), and darted instead of pleats (which can make me look rather ample!). I I like that it has a 50’s look to it. The ties are two-toned and the peplum length is 8" instead of 7". ….A few more to go….:)

Amazing! The fit is fabulous and the bow at the back is divine! What pattern did you use or did you draft this yourself? I’ve got some Batik in my stash too, thanks for the inspiration, I just might try something like this :)
