I wanted to make a dress originally from a certain vintage pattern, but when it was almost finished, I didn’t like it. It reminded me of my grandmother’s bathrobe more than of a dress (thus the name). I modified the sleeves and attached the belt, and I backed the front neckline facing with horse hair canvas to prevent the neckline points from falling down. Now I have a dress that I like!
