Description

I’ve hacked my Sewaholic Renfrew pattern to make my favourite boat neck/bateau neckline! It’s not perfect, but I’m very pleased with my first attempt and I can’t wait to make more – I think it’s very chic! Step-by-step how-to alter the pattern on my blog

Material Notes

Dark grey cotton knit with neon pink top stitching

Fabulous top – the neckline is perfect! I’d love to see your blog but for some reason the link isn’t working :( Would it be possible to provide the full address? x

Thanks for the tutorial, I love boat necks. hate scoop necks.

BTW. If you want fold over elastic, Tessuti sell Mokubu fold over elastic whish is really good quality. For knits I use the lighter weight version. Perhaps you could ring them for a couple of inches of each sample. Far quicker than doing bias binding with stretch

I have had a really good look at your blog and thank-you so much for these adaption instructions for a ‘boat neck’ Renfrew. The Renfrew is a lovely pattern but I think I may get bored with it and this adaptation is gives it a new life. You are very generous and helpful.
