My first uploaded project! Yah!
II felt in love with this sweater the moment I touch it at a thrift store. It’s so soft because of angora wool. Unfortunately it was way to big and looked like a potato sack. The bat sweater was a perfect candidate for a refashion.
I used a basic Tshirt pattern (106 from Burda 02/2011) but cut size 38, 1 size bigger than normaly cause a sweater needs more ease than a Tee. I have made a step by step tutorial, nothing groundbreaking. I hope this will be helphul if you have never done this before.
I will wear my bat sweater on halloween.
Seater at least 2 sizes too big

Thank you. I am so glad I can sew. Being able to sew opened for me a completely new horizon. A refashion or resize, no problem. Outlandish dress, just give me the fabric. There are no limitations, everything is possible. It gave me a great freedom to decide how I look and express myself and this little bat is just a smallish example.
