you asked how i did the bands on my onesie – I simply used a strip of lightweight jersey (cut the width of fabric, not on bias!), folded it like i would fold a bias band and then sewed it to the onesie. this makes a neat and elastic edging and the ones you can buy also use lightweight jersey… ;)
