Basil had a haircut and I thought he needed a winter coat because its snowing here, but at £25 for a dog coat I made one myself I drafted a pattern myself with lots of tweeks here and there. I got a waterproof pac a mac in the charity shop for £2 and a piece of fleece for £1. Between the outer and fleece is quilt batting to keep him warm. I used the pac pocket on his back to put his poo bags in, then if he goes inside it all folds into the pocket. Velcro do ups The only problem is that he refuses to wear it out.

What a great coat for Basil! I like the fact that you have designed the coat so it can fold into itself. I am sure Basil will get use to it and be very grateful.

Thanks, yes using the pocket worked out well but he won’t wear it sadly
