Basic slim-cut white shirt of cotton sateen, made from a pattern from Burda 10/2005. Made as a gift for my boyfriend, who unfortunately was not around to try it on as I was making it. The sleeves came out a bit short as a result, but look okay when he rolls them up!

Wonderful job, otherwise he won’t wear it. Five years ago I made a shirt and pant for my husband, he didn’t wear it so no more for him.

thanks! yeah- i’m impressed with the standard burda fit for this pattern, and it’s not their fault that the boy has monkey arms :) next time longer sleeves, and i think i’ll make a broader collar and broader cuffs for a little more modern look. claireokc- the fabric is really nice, it has an elegant sheen to it without being flashy, but the downside is that it also wrinkles really easily- more so than regular poplin, i think.
