I thought it’s been a while (too long!) since I showed something here, so I figured I’ll show you my new very basic T-shirt which I love, because it’s so comfortable and easy to match with everything. I know that T-shirt might be a bit “dull” project, but what can I say – I like my clothing to fit me as a glove thats why I’m all for making T-shirt at home!

Very well done! I find it very difficult to sew jersey, but you did a great job here! Did you use a serger or a sewing machine?

Thank you :) I used my very simple sewing machine. I used to be a bit afraid of sewing jersey, because it used to make “wavy” seams, but I learned how to deal with my machine a bit better :D P.S. I have written a couple of tips about sewing stretch fabrics on my blog if you are interested :)

T-shirts dull?? I’ve been trying to make a T-shirt for a while now, and I find it to be rather frustrating to get the fit exactly as I like it (or even close to be honest). So this is very impressive to me :)

Thank you very much for such a nice comment! I actually drew a pattern for this T-shirt from an old T-shirt I found in a thrift store which was very ill-fitting, but the shoulder line was perfect for me. I guess my tip would be to first find a pattern or old shirt that has perfect fit on shoulders and then fit the rest of the bodice :)
