i drafted this skirt pattern and sewed it up out of a leftover piece of denim from a previous project (the cp macaron). it is a basic knee-length straight skirt. i made seams down the front and back sides so i could add slant pockets and some topstitching. the waistband has elastic running through it for comfort, a standard zip in the back and a small heart appliqu to keep it fun for my seven year old!

Great Design!! Like the princess seams, pockets and top stitching. My grand-daughter wants one, she is 10 years old and stick thin size 7, would also need the elastic hidden in the waistband.

thanks! my daughter is tall and thin so RTW clothes are either too loose or too short! i was really pleased with the design… i kind of want one in my size too!
