I googled circle skirt pattern and looked at several different tutorials before undertaking this. The best website I found was this one – http://whatthecraft.com/circle-skirt-tutorial-new-and-improved/
The main points I took out of my circle skirt was that finding the radius for the middle of your donut is an important and a step that you shouldn’t skip! Your waist band will always be bigger then what you want, I gathered mine up with the elastic I used as the waist band. If your planning on having a lace trim (like I did with mine) buy generously! I used almost five metres of lace and had to go the the shops twice!
Burda style also has a pattern for this, but I don’t think you really need a pattern for this kind of thing.
