I used the 4/2012 issue of Burdastyle magazine’s pattern #116 view A for this blouse. It’s so simple. I love it because it’s a wardrobe staple that can be worn with anything practically any season. Your imagination is the only limit to how many different fabrics and patterns can be used for this blouse. In my case I used leftover linen fabric from my previous linen blazer project.
The skirt was from the 8/2012 issue # 134. I didn’t make the sash but it’s an option. Denim is leftover fabric.
1.5 yards linen fabric, interfacing, three buttons for the blouse
1.5 yards denim, interfacing, 9 inch zipper for the skirt

Thanks! I think you should definitely add this to your wardrobe because it’s so easy and you can use different fabrics like cotton for the summer or wool for the winter.
