Description

Simple loose-fitting top with cut-on sleeves and self-bias trim. Button enclosure at back neck. The shirt ended up too loose-fitting, and the neckline gaped, so I gathered the neckline a bit in the front and back.

I do a lot of sewing (quilting and other things), but this is the first piece of clothing I’ve made for myself.

Material Notes

Printed calico-I love this fabric!

I used the Bonfit bodice patterner to draft the pattern. The pattern turned out way too loose, in my opinion.

It’s super cute! I have the same problem with the neckline gaping… I have very narrow shoulders. I like how you fixed that problem.
