The reason I haven’t been a prolific sewer—this coat took literally over two months! Modified the pattern for fit (all the sizes in the store were two sizes too big or too small, at least!), as well as to add a quilted lining for warmth. The pattern is Vogue 7979.

WOW, I love your coat! Nice fabric and great job with the pattern. Bet it will keep you warm. I think those two months were well worth the trouble :) (It also takes me ages to make something -I am working fulltime and have a family so I don’t have that much time left for hobbies).
