Baroque print summer dress

Added Apr 21, 2013

Crawley, United ...

Baroque print spring/summer dress, made of 100% viscose. The background is black and the print has yellow nuances, lemon and hot pink accents. Black bias trim on neckline and armholes, with concealed zip at the back.
It’s such a nice fabric to wear on a hot summer day.
It was bit annoying to match all the symmetrical print’s details at the darts and pleats :))

Just gorgeous, where did you find this amazing fabric? Kudos to you for spending the time to line up the pattern – your work has really paid off in the impact this dress has.

Thank you very much :) I found the fabric on Etsy, it came from USA. Very nice soft viscose.

Very pretty! What pattern did you use? Did you make your own?

Thank you :) I used a basic pattern for the bust part and just divided the bottom in equal pleats. I use my own patterns, but if I find something interesting here, then I’d buy it.

Thank you, Trudy :) I want to make one dress for myself in the same fabric.
