A-line skirt from Amy Butler’s Barcelona Skirts. I shortened this by about 15 cm as I generally don’t suit longer skirts, also left out the lining cause of the heat here in Malaysia. Excuse the creases in the picture, didn’t iron it before I took the shot – woops. :/

The A-line is very flattering on you.

Claireokc – Thanks! I used an Amy Butler pattern from ‘Barcelona Skirts’. It’s just a simple A-line number. 3 pieces, no darts, one invisible zipper in the center back. Surprised how simple it was!
Thanks Lilo. I love the Amy Butler fabrics and patterns. :)

I like your skirt, especially the pattern. Thanks for the tip on Amy Butler (just typed Amy Butler in your Google to find the webpage).

This is great – what pattern did you use, or did you draw this up yourself?….darts?…waistband? What sort of zip did you use. Love the color.
