I was in the mood for a new skirt and made this great yellow circle skirt. My intent was to do a 1/2 circle skirt but i actually had enough fabric to get a full circle skirt. I did a bas tape faced hem and overlapped waistband. I add a little detail by doing pleated patch pockets on the front and I added black piping and self-covered fabric buttons to them. I love the fullness of the skirt and am very pleased with how it came out! It is great for twirling in too!
