These wonderful make-up pads are made of bamboo french terry. Rough enough to exfoliate the skin, but the bamboo is still soft enough for sensitive skin.
Great alternative to GMO cotton pads that just get thrown in the garbage, these get thrown into the wash with all your regular stuff!
Can even be used instead of Q-tips while applying make-up. I just fold mine in half and wipe away any mascara mishaps. I also use this to apply my toner, it works amazing because the terry helps remove any last bit of makeup residue.
Bamboo is one of my most favorite fabrics to sew with! It is hypo-allergenic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and is a sustainable plant. All of it’s great qualities last through many washings, in fact the more you wash – the better they are!

awesome! I’ve made a bunch of these for myself out of old washcloths, I too use them for toner and to remove makeup. I love that i can just toss them in the washer and use them again! and they are soooo easy to make! great job!
