A belated end result for the Sew Weekly’s Childhood Memories Challenge, I made this maternity top as inspired by my favorite childhood shirt: a Bambi t-shirt. Based off a vintage 70’s pattern, Simplicity 9333, I made a lot of modifications and found that the stretchy modern jersey may have been a poor choice. The fawn is self drafted, though I would have applied it differently in retrospect. You can certainly read more over at my blog for details. (Link below)
synthetic blend jersey, stretch lace, grosgrain ribbon, hook & eye, button, acrylic/screen printing paint
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
