Description

Silk swatches I turned into drawstring jewelry bags, I’m trying to clean up my fabric and yarn stash for the summer ;)

Silk, cotton thread, needle.

    When you sew the bottom close and then the sides leave yourself a inch and a half of fabric at the top DO NOT SEW that fabric yet you fold of the top fabric over to get a clean edge about half a inch. You can press it so it lays flat then fold the rest of the fabric tucking the pressed part under, can you see the tunnel you made? It should be wide enough to side a safety pin threw. Stitch it down to the bag Do Not stitch the sides close just the bottom and now you can attach your string to a safety pin and string it through the channel ;)

    I really want to make one of these, but how do you get it to be a drawstring bag? Like how do you get it to draw together when you pull the two strings?<3
