My fiance refers to this as my badass shirt (I think he’s secretly jealous that I didn’t make a shirt for him with this fabric). This is made from the Sew U book’s shirt pattern (which I would highly recommend).
An old sheet purchased at the goodwill surplus shop ($1 per pound).
Sew U for the pattern and instructions.
JJ for the tip on seam allowances.
My sister, Hannahlee, for helping me rummage through some pretty disgusting goodwill bins (we actually found a pair of dirty underpants in one of the bins!).
Try out menswear inspired wardrobe staples, like unconventional jackets and high waisted pants.
Find full size patterns for these, and other gorgeous styles in the spring issue!
