This was really easy. It’s basically just a triangle a rectangle and a hood.
the back crosses over, and the outside edge is finished with a raw edge strip of self.

maybe you could use the waist band upside down with the closure at center back?
I’d be interested in seeing what it would look like in a woven, as there’s not shape in the front panel.
