I bought the fabric for this dress a while ago for a fiver at my local thrift store. I really like the vintage floral pattern that it has, but I regret using it on a dress, rather than some shorts because it’s really thick too.
I’m so in love with the backless dress style that has been going on over the past few ss seasons, and I decided to give it a go.

Your dress is beautiful. If you have second thoughts about this fabric for this dress, why not turning the skirt part into shorts. Change it into a playsuit.
