I am going through a 40’s and 50’s kick right now and for some reason this dress feels like it fits in that category. Maybe it’s the Peter Pan collar that was so popular on women’s clothing in the 40’s or the half circle skirt which gives the dress a sort of 50’s feel. Either way, I’m really loving how this dress turned out. I used Burda Style Pattern 7494 for the bodice and just used a simple 1/2 circle skirt pattern for the skirt.

Not sure why the pictures are stretched so wide. If you click the “view all” button, they’re the right size…

    Love it. You have inspired me to use the Burda Style Pattern 7494 with a 1/2 circle skirt pattern. Your dress is just so sweet (and it really suits you).
