Kuala Lumpur, Ma...
My DD’s school reopened today and first day means its time for a new dress
I saw lonsdale dress on sewaholic.net and loved it, i decided to knock if off for my DD and here is the result.
The pattern i have drafted does not have any CF seam and uses plain bodice block converted into halterish neckline, with slit at CF to let ties go through. back of bodice is elasticated. Skirt is plain drindle skirt, though you can play with circle or semi-circle skirt as well.
The straps go through a slit at front and end up as ties at back which has loops.
Added a belt as i felt the print was too busy ; the belt is detacable and is elasticated at back with loop button closure!
