My finished skirt from the Beginner’s First Ginger Sewalong! I’m really happy with the way this turned out and it couldn’t have been easier to construct this with the help of sunnilj9 ’s tutorials. New techniques for me: installing an invisible zipper and hand stitching a hem. Blogged here.

It’s a really nice pattern— the instructions for finishing the waistband are so helpful and basically guarantee a nice finish.
