I bought a whole bunch of this lime jersey at Goodwill and proceeded to make a track suit for pretty much every baby I knew at the time – and there were many. These are very very very easy to make. Just grab an uggggggly toddler sweatshirt in the right size at Goodwill, cut apart and use as a pattern. The hoodie is just a half moon with a wide base to fit the collar (see Burda tutorial here: http://www.burdastyle.com/techniques/piece-signs-hood/technique_steps/1). More instructions at another time, I promise.
Jersey and then any other stretch knit with fun colors from the sleeves of upcycled t-shirts. I get most of the materials for my kids' projects from naked ladies parties.

This is amazing! I might have to try it out. :) Love it, and the fact that you are using goodwill to it’s full advantage.

Seriously. If you can find a second hand place that does used clothes by the bag/pound that is even better. I will try and add the step by step at another point.
