Description

A friend of mine asked me to make her a dress for her baby shower. I noticed that pregnant women love to talk about how bad they look and it sounds like they almost plan to look simple at their baby shower. So I decided to go over the top with her dress and made it floor length and full of draping. At first sight it was too glamours but it’s your party look like a star if you want to!

I’ve never learned Grecian draping so it was all just pinning and standing back and staring for me lol Which was quite difficult to take off and sew. Now that i have some practice with gravity and draping my next one will be better.

    I think you did a lovely job. The draping on the skirt is particularly beautiful and great color choice too. The mom-to-be is absolutely goddess-like!
