This is the fourth baby quilt and by far the best! Sorry previous baby quilt recipients! This is the first time I used proper quilting cotton of a good quality (rather than any old cotton I had in my stash) and 100% cotton thread. It made a world of a difference. The back of the quilt is a dreamy soft flannel. I’ve finally gotten a grip of free motion quilting – this design anyway! What fun! And I LOVE the batting that has the adhesive in it – it’s a dream to work with.
Blogged about it here
quilting cotton, flannel quilt back, batting, 100% cotton thread

thank you! Are you sure you can’t free motion quilt using your machine? All you need is to be able to drop the feed dogs and to use a darning foot. There are also gorgeous quilting stitches you can do with a straight stitch foot! See for example here – scroll to the bottom of the post.
